Caleb Stanton Higginbotham

I am a Mortgage Banker with First Citizens Bank in Greenville, South Carolina, with a diverse background in residential mortgage lending spanning community banking, builder-affiliated lending, and private money investment financing.

Throughout my career, I have gained experience helping clients navigate a wide range of financing needs, including conventional, jumbo, construction, investment property, and government-backed loans. My background in private money lending has also given me valuable experience working with real estate investors, structuring creative financing solutions, and navigating complex transactions.

What I enjoy most about the mortgage business is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, solve problems, and make a lasting impact on the people I serve. I believe successful lending goes beyond closing transactions. It’s about earning trust, providing thoughtful guidance, and becoming a dependable resource for clients and referral partners alike.

At First Citizens, my focus is on delivering an exceptional lending experience while building lasting partnerships with Realtors, builders, financial professionals, and the communities we serve.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Clarita, and our two dogs, Mac, a Boykin Spaniel, and Winston, our Weiner dog. I’m a University of Alabama graduate, an avid cyclist, an active member of Grace Church Downtown, and a volunteer Young Life leader here in Greenville.
