Nick Wolfe is a Managing Director at First Citizens Bank in the Wine Division. He has 20+ years of professional experience in the US Wine Industry and serves clients across California, Oregon, and Washington. His responsibilities include managing teams in commercial banking, relationship management, portfolio management and credit analysis.
The team of bankers collectively support premium winery, vineyard, and craft beer clients with their treasury management and capital needs. They provide strategic support and banking services including deposit solutions and financing for real estate, construction, vineyard development, equipment, acquisitions, and buyouts. Nick enjoys combining his passion and experience in wine, business, and finance to help clients grow and achieve their business goals.
Nick was raised in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley and works from the bank’s Santa Rosa office. He began his banking career with the First Citizens Wine Division in 2012. Prior to joining the bank, Nick gained industry knowledge from operational experience by spending 8 years in winemaking and vineyard roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Viticulture and Enology and MBA degree in Finance, both from the University of California, Davis.
Outside of work, Nick loves spending time with his wife, two children, and Australian shepherd. He enjoys traveling, wine pairing, grilling, tomato farming, woodworking, skiing and exploring the outdoors. He is also an active Board Member of the Russian River Valley Winegrowers association.
