As a First Citizens commercial banker, it’s important to invest in understanding your business, strategies and key objectives. I attended UC San Diego with a Biology scholarship and earned my degree from Moorpark College with a concentration in Business Management. My career includes over 25 years in banking with much of that time spent in the Commercial Banking space. My specific focus has been working with clients in the Commercial and Industrial space that are in the growth phase of the business cycle. Industries I have expertise in are Food & Beverage, Natural Products, LOHAS, Cosmetics, Packaging and Manufacturing sectors with an emphasis on Sustainability.
My home is in Thousand Oaks, California. I am passionate about spending my spare time volunteering for non-profits in my local community. One of my favorite hobbies is participating in charitable 5K and 10K runs for non-profits. Also, in my past life I ran a successful Beer Festival with the Rotary Club of Moorpark for several years. My other passion is endurance sports! I've done several triathlons, usually about 3 per year and hope to complete my first Iron Man race in the next 2 years.
Since I live so close to the mountains, ocean and Los Angeles concert venues are plentiful; it makes it easy to enjoy the great outdoors. My other passion is attending concerts with friends and I'm a season ticket holder for the Hollywood Bowl.
When I'm not out riding my bike or hiking, I'm happiest at home tending my exotic indoor plants and always adding to my outdoor botanical garden.
