I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Meredith College and my MBA from Campbell University. My career includes over 10 years in banking, all with First Citizens, where I have spent time on our retail and business banking teams. My specific focus has been working with clients in the professional, dental, medical and non-profit space, as well as various other industries that are in the growth phase of the business cycle.
I am a native of eastern North Carolina and moved to the Triangle in 2008. I am passionate about serving the community and am active in my church. I am President-Elect of the Southwest Durham Rotary Club and chair my church finance & administration committee. Through my Rotary involvement, I have opportunities to volunteer with wonderful organizations in our community, including Backpack Buddies, Urban Ministries, Reality Ministries and Caring House, as well as organizations supporting veterans transitioning out of homelessness and Alzheimer's caregivers. In addition to volunteering, I enjoy golf, cycling, family time, DIY home and garden projects and spending time at the NC coast.
