I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Elon University with a concentration in Accounting and later pursued an MBA at Western Carolina University. My career in banking includes in time spent in the Commercial Credit, Mortgage, and Business Banking spaces. My specific focus has been working with clients in the business banking space that are in the growth phase of the business cycle.
My spouse, Paige, and I have been married for seven years. In July 2020 we welcomed our first child, a son named Jack. We are both Jackson County natives and members of Sylva First United Methodist Church.
I am passionate about spending my spare time in the outdoors and volunteering in our local communities. I am a founding member of the Sylva Satellite Rotary Club, on the board of the Jackson County Community Foundation, and a member of the Tuckaseigee Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Whenever possible I am fly fishing somewhere in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
