I earned my bachelor's degree from Lenoir Rhyne University with a concentration in Business. My career includes over 30 years in banking with the majority of that time spent in the Commercial and Business Banking space. My specific focus has been working with clients in the medical market space that are in the growth phase of the business cycle.
I am the proud parent of a daughter, Blair, who graduated from Charleston Southern University, and a son, Lane, who attends NC State University.
I am passionate about supporting the local hospital, Catawba Valley Health System, as a member of the Foundation Board. I enjoy traveling on weekends to visit my kids and visiting my sister at the beach often throughout the year.
