My role as Loss Control Advisor with First Citizens Insurance Services involves working with our commercial clients to identify workplace hazards and establish controls to reduce risks and minimize claims. This results in better premium rates for our clients and increased marketability to our insurance carrier partners. I am a graduate of Fairmont State College (B.S.) and West Virginia University (M.S.).

I have over 20 years of experience in environmental health and safety with a broad-based background in areas such as workplace safety, OSHA compliance, industrial hygiene, fire/life safety, ergonomics, etc. In addition, I am a Certified Fire Protection Specialist by the National Fire Protection Association. Having grown up in the mountains of West Virginia, I enjoy most any outdoor activity, particularly the peace and tranquility of a beautiful trout-filled mountain stream. I also enjoy traveling and have been to Europe and the Caribbean multiple times. Other interests include music, wine making and WVU athletics.
