At First Citizens Capital Equipment Financing, I have a passion for growing a company's enterprise value. Capital equipment financing is an important tool that helps achieve certain goals and objectives, and should be highly tailored by an expert with a proven track record. I have 25+ years of experience in developing C-suite and key stake holder relationships as a trusted partner and advisor. With a deep understanding of financial engineering, tax and accounting rules, and capital utilization, I continually seek ways to enhance value for clients.
I attended Brigham Young University where I earned a BA in History and then earned my MBA from the University of Chicago with an emphasis in finance. My career includes 20+ years with GE Capital and GE's Commercial Industrial Bank. When GE exited commercial finance I provided CFO advisory services for small to middle market companies throughout Utah. I join CIT in 2018, which was acquired by First Citizens Bank in January 2022.
My home is in Salt Lake City, Utah where I live with my wife and 4 kids. I am passionate about my family, my faith and serving in my community. I spend my spare time volunteering for Utah Non Profit Housing Corporation and serve on the board. I currently have 2 children attending Brigham Young University, 1 pursuing an career in advertising and my youngest son having the greatest time at East High School.
