Gene Leary - As Director of Origination – Sponsor Coverage, Gene leads sponsor coverage nationally for Capital Equipment Finance. He has over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services. Previously, Gene held leadership and origination roles at PNC Business Credit, Citibank, TD Bank, and GE Capital. With extensive experience lending and equipment finance experience across a broad base of industries including aerospace, automotive, construction, consumer products, distribution, food, manufacturing, maritime, media, retail, and transportation, he has been able to use his extensive knowledge and practice in deal structuring, debt markets and credit markets to deliver crucial financings for his customers. He received his BS degree in Economics from SUNY, with studies at McGill University in Montreal and his MBA in Accounting and Finance from Columbia University in NYC.
Gene is based in the New York area and lives there with his wife, kids and 2 dogs.
